On a recent trip home...

I got to go home (Chicago) for Easter weekend and had such a good time. I never really have too many expectations when I go home because I have family obligations, and when we get together, it's great to see everyone, but it's still work to do all that 'visiting'. If you come from a large family, you know what I am talking about... Anyways, I managed to spend some time with my 15 year old niece (!!!!) in the loop. Because I have been away from Chicago for 5 years now, I have missed out on all the larger improvements that Mayor Daley has done. The image at right is one of them- a huge waterfront park- Millennium Park. It has several areas, and this is the Crown Fountain. It has a range of faces that appear on the screen and then it proceeds to spit out water at different areas. Delightful!

Seattle definitely needs more centralized open areas like this.
