You're money baby.

Las Vegas, part deux.

I took my scared ass(I hate flying) to Vegas this week to visit with two very good friends. It's amazing how easily I fall back into hanging with these guys. Its like going home... we have decided to make an annual go of it. Maybe not Vegas, but a specific trip with the plan of meeting up with each other to catch up without the strings of being in Chicago. (where we are from and have to contend with when we are all in town- parents, siblings, etc..)

Sam chose the hotel, and it was just beautiful. I highly recommed THEhotel at Mandalay Bay. The best boutique hotel I have ever stayed in. Unlike the W, it's actually got plenty of room and boasts a living room, a flat panel television in every room, 2 bathrooms (love the soaking tub) and a nice view of the strip. We also partook THEhotel's inhouse spa- Bathhouse. Ask for Randy, he does swedish massage. It rocked. The spa had private baths, a "hot" pool (large jacuquzi), a cold pool, sauna, beverage service, the list goes on and on. It was so nice. The hotel's services were good, but not great. They took almost an hour to deliver a cheese and cracker spread.

Goud convinced us head over to downtown LV where the minimums are much lower and you can play for ages. It was true, Goud played for ages on little money down.

We went to a few places to drink, etc, but I am defintely over Tangerine at TI. So effing crowded, with no crowd control. It's very hard to really dance on the dance floor because there is a constant flow of people coming and going, surging you to and fro. It got to be a little much, so we moved on for the night...

It was amazing how well I did on little sleep over the past 3 days. The only downside to staying at such a nice hotel, is all you want to do is stay in and order room service. Maybe next time, that's all I will do!
